Eileen graduated from NUS, School of Design and Environment in 2005. After her graduation, she embarked on a journey as a financial services consultant with American International Assurance Co. Ltd. Not wanting a routine, desk-bound 9-to-5 job, she chose the financial planning line as opposed to becoming a property agent like her mum.
This is partly due to her desire to continue learning new things as her career progresses. In fact, this is evident in the professional qualifications she has attained to date, which includes Associate Financial Planner, Associate Wealth Planner, Associate Estate Planning Practitioner and come this year August, she will be given her title of Certified Financial Planner. She loves to continuously learn new things so that she can impart the knowledge she had acquired to her clients or prospects she meets on a day-to-day basis. She feels that everyone’s time is precious and thus to ensure that the time they had spent with her is fruitful, she makes it a point for everyone to take something away with them after each meeting.
Eileen loves being around people and always does her utmost to brighten up their day. Some friends call her a “sunshine girl”. Apart from her sincerity and dedication to provide all her clients with the best service, the positive energy and bright smile she has is highly infectious. She has a motto of leading life like there is no tomorrow and this motto pushes her to give her best in everything she does. . Being selfless and helpful, she does her utmost to cater to her clients’ needs - monetary gain is always secondary to her. She is a financial services consultant who puts clients and everyone before herself. The satisfaction she gets, from getting someone insured, delivering a cheque to her clients/their family for a successful claim, or even just educating someone about the importance of getting themselves a comprehensive insurance coverage is much more priceless than monetary benefit. In fact, this is the main reason behind her choosing this path as she feels that it is a truly meaningful career and her desire to educate her fellow Singaporeans about financial planning urges her to reach out to as many people as possible.
Though Eileen has only been in the business since 2006, she had attained remarkable results. In 2006, she qualified for her the prestigious AIA Million Dollar Club; and in 2007, she pushed herself to greater heights and achieved the much-coveted Million Dollar Round Table. In addition, she became one of the Centurions and Gold Premier Agents in AIA. She was also appointed a Personal Wealth Manager by the High Networth Prestige Department in AIA. All these achievements are attributed to all her clients and are FOR her clients. To Eileen, she will not be at where she is today without her clients’ support and to show her gratitude, she aspires to scale greater heights and share her achievements with her clients.
