Jamson Chia graduated from The National University of Singapore in 2003 with Bachelor of Engineering (Hons). Possessing an interest in financial planning, he furthered his education, and obtained the prestigious title of a Certified Financial Planner (CFPCM) in 2007. He is also one of the few privileged advisors in his company to attain the Business Insurance title.
Jamson currently heads the team as an Associate District Manager, where he is responsible for providing quality service and advice, especially in the Small and Medium Enterprises and High Net Worth Market. He is also responsible for grooming new talents, where he holds an impressive track record. Various consultants under his training have qualified for numerous awards ranging from AIA’s Million Dollar Club, to the highly acclaimed international Million Dollar Round Table award.
Jamson entered the life insurance business because of his desire to help others. Being witness to how his uncle was made a bankrupt after failing in his business, Jamson became more resolute to help others avoid the risks of poor financial planning. At a young promising age, Jamson has already advised over 1000 people on personal risk management, wealth management, and many investment related issues. These include advisory work on estate planning, where his knowledge on wills and trusts have helped many individuals. Specializing in helping SMEs and business owners grow their businesses, his clientele base springs from all walks of life, and it has been extended to countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong and even China. His personalised approach towards each and every individual has been greatly appreciated by many of his clients.
Jamson has also made a name for himself in helping SME owners extend their mileage. He is also highly sought after by numerous companies on issues like corporate restructuring, corporate benefits, risks management and succession planning. This is done with a group of specialists who work closely with Jamson. In fact, three of the companies that Jamson has worked very closely with posted a jump in profits over 15% over a 12-month period, with one of them having an impressive 28.36% profit jump in 2007. Jamson and his team of specialist were instrumental in helping a client become public listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Within the first 5 years of his career, Jamson has achieved an admirable feat of being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table for 3 consecutive years, and he is currently one of the youngest managers in AIA. He has been featured in Lian He Zao Bao.
