Selina Yeo graduated from The National University of Singapore in May 2005 with Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). During her four years in NUS Temasek Hall, she was active in various committees where she undertook diverse leadership roles. She was the Executive Producer of a Theatre Production in 2002/2003 as well as the Marketing & Vice President of the Dinner and Dance Committee in 2002 & 2003.
Noticing her competence and positive attitude, her then-mentor and current Agency Manager Jamson Chia saw the potential in her being a successful and committed Financial Services Consultant. Therefore, he approached her and successfully recruited her. She then joined AIA Co. Ltd as a Financial Services Consultant in June 2005 after graduating from NUS. Her hunger for more knowledge motivated her to further her education and obtain the title of an Associate Financial Planner (AFPTM) in 2007, allowing her to give more professional advice on risk management, wealth management, investment, tax & estate planning.
In 2005, she took part in a 2-year intensive training and education programme – Executive Development Program (EDP) – which she successfully graduated and became a more qualified consultant. As a Financial Services Consultant for 3 years, she has successfully achieved her Career Benefit in a short span of 6 months in 2005, Shining Star in 2006 and Million Dollar Club (MDC) in 2007. With her commitment and motivation, she also qualified for the prestigious Mini Convention in 2006 where she enjoyed a fully- paid 5 days/4 nights trip to Sydney. In 2007, she also qualified for the Headstart Seminar and enjoyed a 3 days 2 nights cruise on Star Cruise Virgo.
At a young age of 25 years old, Selina has advised over 500 people on personal risk management, wealth management, investment related issues as well as estate planning issues. With her meticulous, organized and customized approach, she is a confidante to individuals and families from all walks of life. On a corporate level, she is committed to providing specialized services to companies - financial advice, quotation & implementation of Employee Benefits as well as Succession Planning for Business Owners.
Selina is a very outgoing and sociable person and she loves meeting people and helping others. As a Financial Services Consultant, she has the freedom and the opportunity to make friends and meet people from all walks of life and at the same time have the chance to assist people in their financial decisions. She loves this career and would like the opportunity to help as many people as she can. Therefore her motto is:
